650 Case Feeder

Recommended Posts

After about 5000 rounds loaded my case feeder quit turning. Is there any reset button? I've had a few times I've had to help the shell plate along. If I put a large cottage cheese container (24 oz) of 9mm brass in it, it seemed to run sluggish.

I'll call Dillon this afternoon see if the motor died. I know many of you guys run the case feeders pretty hard.

I keep a plastic cup by my presses and add a cup full of cases when I add primers. You have to stop anyway and I have never damaged the motor.

Make sure the arm on the limit switch that shuts it off is not caught on the tube holding it off.

Remove the case feed plate and see if the motor turns on either high or low.

Might as well make sure it's plugged in good and the outlet is working while your at it.
