The Donald
After about 5000 rounds loaded my case feeder quit turning. Is there any reset button? I've had a few times I've had to help the shell plate along. If I put a large cottage cheese container (24 oz) of 9mm brass in it, it seemed to run sluggish.I'll call Dillon this afternoon see if the motor died. I know many of you guys run the case feeders pretty hard. Edited September 1, 2015 by The Donald
RangerTrace
Make sure the bolt is tightened enough to keep it from slipping too easily and check for debris that could be wedged between the plate and the bowl.
jmorris
I keep a plastic cup by my presses and add a cup full of cases when I add primers. You have to stop anyway and I have never damaged the motor. Make sure the arm on the limit switch that shuts it off is not caught on the tube holding it off. Remove the case feed plate and see if the motor turns on either high or low. Might as well make sure it's plugged in good and the outlet is working while your at it. The Donald
It quit just as I was finishing a run of 200 rds. Started to take it off the machine this afternoon and It started working again. What can you say I'll run off some more ammo tomorrow night.
