JesseM
I was trying to sell my 75 BD so I could upgrade to a model with a reversible magazine release. I was offered a trade I couldn't refuse and now I have a CZ SP-01 that has dual a dual safety. Mag release has been reversed so I am a happy camper. I plan to shoot it in IDPA ESP & USPSA Limited; I will not shoot it in Production as I have zero desire to lower the hammer on a live round. I know it can be done I just don't want to do it. So my two questions are: A) What safety options do I have that will be legal for ESP and Limited? What is involved in installing that safety? Is it something I can do myself or should I have a gun smith do it?
robertwyatt
The stock safety is legal for ESP use.
JesseM
Ha. I should have clarified, I am looking for an extended safety lever. The stock one is a bit too small for me to reliably hit it every time.
