Pfiddy Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 Im changing a couple of my magazines from stock, adding Dawson SNL pads and looking to put new springs and followers in. The information I can find says 11 coil springs for 38/40sw in 140mm mags, but to use the 13 coils springs for magazine extensions or 170mm Mine are 140s and Im curious if I need to go with the 13 coil due to the extension or if the 11 coil spring will function just as well for .45 as it does 38/40sw.
