R1valdez
Shooters Connection sells 7lb recoil springs. They also sell a spring tester that you can use to determine what spring weight you're using.

Foxbat
It is easy to measure with a bathroom scale. Put it over some rod, a nut or a washer on top, and compress until the turns just touch, that is your weight. In reality the accuracy of those numbers is not great, and both might measure the same. Guest
Agree with getting a recoil spring scale of some type (homemade, or store bought). The number on the package is only an approximation of the spring weight when compressed. they are usually +/- 1 pound, but when you are talking 7 pounds being off by a half pound can make the difference between reliable and not reliable. i measure all new springs for actual spring weight, and to ensure they do not go solid when the slide is fully retracted.
