I'm receiving a new Matt McLearn Custom Open gun in 38 SC this week with a Schuemann 3 port hybricomp design. Can anyone share their Major load recipe to speed up my load development? I will be using VV 3N38 with Montana Gold 124 cmj round nose & Federal SR primers - Thanks for your help.

I"m using 9.6 Gr. of N-105 and a 124 m/g hp bullet for a pf of 169 in a McLearn hybricomp. There is a bunch of guys here shooting Matt guns that use 3n38 but I don't know their loading data. You will love that gun, super tite and accurate and the fit and finish is beautiful.

This will be my 7th Open gun & every gun has varied quite a bit as far as the loads go. Matt suggests using 3N38 but he hasn't shot over a chrono in quite awhile. My guns have gone from a low of 9.1 to a high of 10.6 for 3N38, just wanted to see if I could narrow this gap down for guys running Matt's guns. Thanks Tony for your load, that helps me narrow the gap down.
