Anybody have any favorite loads for 38 tj/super with 125 gr plated round nose bullets with Titegroup or Power Pistol? I am not trying to make major, just want to knock down some plates tomorrow at 30' with my Gold Team using Starline 38tj brass. I know, it's last minute, but that's the way my world goes. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions, I usually load 7625 but just don't seem to have any. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GrumpyOne Posted June 19, 2015 Share Posted June 19, 2015 You can try 8 grains of PP with that 125...it'll be super flashy, and you might need a really light spring to work the gun...last time I tried it with a 7lb spring, it still wouldn't cycle in my Trubor. maxposner Posted June 20, 2015 Author Share Posted June 20, 2015 7.0 gr Power Pistol behind a Berry's 124gr thick plate bullet, tried both Winchester Small rifle and CCI Small Pistol primers. Work great, no pressure signs, great ejection, no hiccups and accurate enough. Didn't set up the chrono, but was real happy with the way it all worked.
