jbultman
I'm looking to remove the thumb safety on my m&p22 pistol that I use for plinking. Does anyone know someone who makes/sells frame plugs for them? I have heard that the 9/40/45 plugs don't work. Can anyone confirm that? Any help would be awesome. I could shoot it without the safety but I would love a plug to keep stuff from getting in! I do have access to a 3d printer, if I can't find some, I may make my one, as a last resort Thanks
StealthyBlagga
I just removed my safety levers and left the silver lever internals exposed - does not look like there is much chance of crap getting in there.
dave33
There was a guy on the Smith and Wesson forum tha was 3D printing plugs and selling a little kit that replaced the safety levers a while back. If memory serves it was about $20 and looked pretty slick when installed. You may want to look around there and see if he is still doing it. smith-wessonforum.com is the site.
