New SDB - 2 questions

Finally drank the cool aid and have my SDB set up, but I have a couple of questions to make sure I'm right.

1. Is it normal to have a click at the bottom of the stroke from the spring on he failsafe rod popping into place in the white plastic piece or should that line up smoothly?

2. Should the powder bar move out slightly - quarter to half inch - with no case present or should it be motionless without a case?

My powder bar moves slightly with no case present. not sure about the "click"

The spring doesn't initially center in the white plasmic piece, then pops when it shifts to the center.

I have the click sound sometimes, not always. 10% of the times I'd say. I think it is normal.

That worried me less than the powder bar moving with no case present. Guess i'll find it wjphe. I put powder in the hopper if its enough to spill.

The powder bar on mine moved just under 3/8" with no case present. Normal

Mine "clicked" as well until I cut a slight bevel on the plastic bushing so the spring slid into place easier.
