WhiteDingo
Which style plug? The flanged or stepped plug?
Speedsouthshooting
I haven't ordered one yet. Going to add a cone comp to a 9mm, 1911 steel gun and will need a reverse plug. Any recommendations?
WhiteDingo
They're both pretty simple, but the flanged may be easier as it doesn't require any reaming from the rear. You just make sure your plug channel in the slide is all one diameter and then cut the thickness of the flange off the rear of the tunnel. The stepped collar requires reaming out the rear of the tunnel so that the plug seats at flush or below on the back side. If you already have the tooling or access to it, no big deal. Will you be doing the work yourself, or having someone do it?
Speedsouthshooting
I have a pal that owns a machine shop and has bridge ports and cnc's. He ported my slide and can do this, he was asking for deminsions. Thank you for your help.
