Bob Hostetter
I have shot a couple of indoor matches over the years and have played with different shoes several times. I have settled on Cross-trainers designed for hard floors. I stay with a open lug pattern so that casings can push up between the lugs if I step on one, I look for a generous radius on the outer edge of the sole, and something that provides at least a little ankle support. Whatever shoe you go with will work better if you keep the soles clean. Burning gunpowder tends to produce carbon and graphite which make an excellent lube between your shoes and the floor. I used to take window cleaner and wipe off my soles between stages.
