PKT1106
The Dillon website says it can load "all common" pistol and rifle rounds. I think the biggest I would go is probably a 338 Lapua Magnum. Outside of that, a single stage with a bigger opening may be called for.

Intel6
The limiting factor is probably more the length than the width, I can load .460 Weatherby on my 550.
b1gcountry
I think the 338 lapua is too long
Alan550
I think the 338 lapua is too long Not so according to the Dillon Blue Press catalog. They list the 338 Lapua as one of the calibers that can be loaded on the 550B. Edited March 11, 2015 by Alan550

jmorris
You can load little "50's on it (AE/BEO) with 7/8-14 dies, bigger if you have custom dies made. The only limit is the ID of the thread for caliber.
dadsechelon54
Hello everyone, thanks for all replies. Dillon finally confirmed that the RL550B is great for loading 338 Lapua. Now I can start browsing for a 338 Lapua upper. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
