Gold Cup Safety

I actually installed a WC wide paddle safety and it works quite well. I have installed this same safety on a few of my 1911's, and I found these quite easy to fit. You can also remove the sharp edges on the paddle to make it even more comfortable.

WC has another one with narrow paddle. The workmanship on these is impeccable; however, they come with an oversized pin and it may not fit in your frame hole unless you turn down the pin diameter.

Thanks. Were the Wilson parts you used machined or the metal injection molded ones?

Installed the Wilson Combat BP Wide Lever on my Springer RO, and the fit/finish was excellent:

Going with a Kart barrel and a couple more upgrades; and seriously considering the new EGW ambi:

Heard this ambi is a true workhorse with excellent support for either side.

Thanks. I've been considering both the Wilson BP and the single-side EGW that Brownell's carries. Just wondering what others are using on race guns.
