itzjere
I installed the CGW extended firing pin + spring and reduced power FPB spring this evening and noticed that when doing a DA pull, and I pull ever so slightly, I hear a click that sounds from the FPB. This is way before the half cocked position. Should I be concerned? I found a video on Youtube of someone else with the same symptom.
CZ85Combat
that's the way it is when you change from stock. It has to do with the extended firing pin. It is what it is if you want to use the extended firing pin. Has nothing to do with the heat treating, It is because it is longer. emjei
My Shadow does the same thing and it doesn't have a FPB

nmbpman
I emailed CGW about it when I noticed it with mine, they told me its normal with the extended firing pin. Mine still does it and it shoots great.
itzjere
Thank you everyone for chiming in. I shot 200 rounds yesterday with the new parts and everything was flawless.
