soundlzrd
So, looks like I finally got my 625 just when IDPA does away with them. Oh well. Anyway, this is my first moon clip revolver. I actually picked it up to learn more about moon clips and how they work in revolvers. I am looking to order some moon clips from Ranch Products but wasn't sure if I should go with blued or plated clips. I am leaning towards blue due to cost, but wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was overlooking that would cause me to get plated. What say you experts? Thanks Sean
PatJones
I bought blue clips from revolver supply. Something like 50 cents a piece. I'm very happy with them.
mcb
I have been running the blued ones from Ranch Product for years. Can't beat them for the price and they work great in my 625. Never had an issue with rust. A little bit of oil rubbed on them keeps them in fine condition.
reuel_f_emery
625 Blued moonclips work great, stainless work great but the nickel plated ones, (I think Revolver Supply has em) can double for jewelry for necklace for your honey.... gotta think ahead here....way ahead! soundlzrd
Thanks guys! While the wife might like some jewelry, I think I'll save the money and get her something she really wants!
