With only a very slight difference in feel, no discernable difference in speed or muzzle dip, I tend to opt to ere on the side of reliability. Rob01 Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 I am sure it's not going to be the same for everyone but someone coming into this wanting to find a spring weight might try it. I found that when i got my .40 2011 I started with the 14 pound factory spring and it shot good. After wathing that video i ordered some springs and hit the range. impacts with 14 pound spring on fast doubles were about 10 inches apart almost all vertical. I went to a 13 pound spring and it was down to around 8" and then to a 12 pound and they were down to 3-4" so needless to say the 12 pound is what rides in my 2011. Did the same when I got my Trojan .40 and ended up with the 13 pound. Same with 9mm Trojan and ended up with factory 10 pound. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
