Looking at the S&W M&P 40 CORE Ported. - Where do you get wide magwells now for this pistol? - What trigger upgrade is best? - Best place to get mag extensions? Bkreutz Posted January 9, 2015 Share Posted January 9, 2015 If you're shooting Speed Challenge, having a .40 with a big magwell is useless since there is no power factor in SCC, and there is no reload on the clock either so a big magwell won't improve anything either. However if you just like the parts (or want to shoot USPSA, I think Speed shooter specialties makes the best magwells, but Tarnan Tactical is good as well. chbrow10 Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 for steel challenge, I don't think you will need extended basepads and a magwell, unless you are worried about your grip. 9mm is the way to go in steel challenge.
