jfremder
I noticed when taking apart the sear cage and installing the new CGW parts on a C-100 and S-120 (CZ Clones) that they did not have the tiny spring installed from the factory, and the Firing Pin Block Lever just flopped around. Is the tiny spring essential for proper operation? What happens if it's left out on reassembly? Edited December 28, 2014 by jfremder
eerw
I thought the lever on the CANIK was keyed to the sear. and lifted when the sear moved. DOn't think it uses the lifter spring like on a CZ.
Xanthri
Funny you should mention this, I was replacing my lifter with the short reset from CGW. When I pulled it apart I did not see the lifter spring that I was going to replace with the one in the CGW kit. I am 95% positive I didn't lose the original as I used a slave pin. Is it possible for it to operate correctly without the little spring? (BTW I put the new one in anyway of course) but I saw this topic and thought I would ask if any one else had a similar experience. That said I will go home tonight and find the one that popped out likely....LOL
