Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have commandeered a 75B in 40 SW barrel and I would like to try to make it fit the compact and have it cut down and threaded since no threaded barrels are available for purchase for the P-06. I have some neat projects that I will share very soon.....but this is just an extra barrel so I am expanding my capabilities is all
  2. Working on a project, remembered seeing an older thread about a guy trimming the locking knub in order to make a threaded barrel from 75B barrel... can anyone confirm this is possible?
  3. Funny you should mention this, I was replacing my lifter with the short reset from CGW. When I pulled it apart I did not see the lifter spring that I was going to replace with the one in the CGW kit. I am 95% positive I didn't lose the original as I used a slave pin. Is it possible for it to operate correctly without the little spring? (BTW I put the new one in anyway of course) but I saw this topic and thought I would ask if any one else had a similar experience. That said I will go home tonight and find the one that popped out likely....LOL
  4. ha ha.....I will just wait to go crazy until I get back to Oregon, for now I will just work on the two I have and make the fine adjustments.....the sights on my P-01 are totally off...that kind of surprised me...I am just having a problem figuring out the whole spring weights. Some say go heavy, some say go light.....some say it will affect which ammo you can use because of the primers (wouldn't that be the firing pin in conjunction with the hammer spring?) anyway....just trying to make the best decisions so that I can have accurate guns with good response.
  5. Hello, Recently started building up my collection after years of putting it off. I am military (OR resident but stationed in CA until retirement next year). I live in San Diego and my first purchase was a CZ P-01 (basically I couldn't get an SP-01 because of availability). However gun show this weekend I managed to scoop one up under the SSE rule. Very excited that I could grab one, I actually pick it up around the first of the year. I will be looking to do some simple modifications at first (maybe some more robust ones later down the line). I am mechanically inclined, but I want to ensure that I do everything very methodically and carefully so I don't screw things up. Looking forward to touching base with some folks local to me, who knows perhaps find some new shooting buddies ETC. Happy to be here....first name is Dave.
