pikid89
Hello guys first post here I recently acquired a new CZ SP-01 Manual Safety I love it but i decided to do some upgrades I ordered up some CGW parts SRS-2 Type 2 Disco I installed all the parts and used the 11.5 hammer spring I reassembled everything and all seems well during dry fire But when I put a magazine in, the double action stops working. The trigger will cock the hammer but it bottoms out before dropping the hammer. Now i can get the hammer to drop if i smash the trigger really hard, but if i pull it any slower, it just holds the hammer to the rear. What say you? pikid89
Update, it seemed the sear cage is moving a tiny bit as I had also put in a SP-01 Shadow extended safety and I thought that was the culprit, so i put the original safety back in and now its not as bad, but still there. About half the time now the hammer just stays back on a double action pull, and others the hammer falls after a tiny delay. If I hold the hammer back with the trigger, but bump the safety lever, the hammer falls.
pikid89
Update 2 I put the factory disco back in and it seems all is well. Any ideas on how to get the Type 2 Disco to work reliably with DA?

eerw
My guess is the trigger bar is not dropping in time to let the disco slip off for the hammer to drop. If so, need to move the timing of the DA sooner. Usually you can do this by polishing or beveling of the wing to allow it to slip off sooner. Check in with David, since this is his part.
