Svi infinity front sight cut?

Who knows the common front sight dove tail cut on an svi limited gun? My guess is .300? Could be .330? a buddy of mine just bought an svi and wants to change out his front blade sight to fiber optic. The slide is not flat toped either so is a shorter fiber going to be better? Like a .180 tall? Any info would be great on this thank you:)

You may get an answer from someone here, or you could call someone like Dawson, who makes sites and has knowledgeable people, or just shoot SVI an email, they are pretty good about getting back to you.

if its not FT or has a pad the dawson one will do. i would get the 160 or 170 instead of the 180 the suggest. most of the guns with 180's i have seen need the rear sight hiked up to compensate for the 180. with a 160 it should rest in the body of the sight lower

if he want the original look of the slant SV sight he should look at the FO they offer. i just put one on mine and its nice. All the Dawson one are longer by quite a bit.
