buckaroo45
Stumbled across a statement by a wag on a trap shooting board that stated he didn't recommend storing guns in a "sock" in the safe but didn't explain why. My socks are full length and treated with silicone. Anybody know why it would not be recommended? BTW I live in So Florida - land of sea salt air and humidity. RePete
If there is any moisture, it's kept close to the gun and will promote rusting or corrosion. Where you live, store in the safe and use a Golden Rod or desiccant cans.
