zhunter
Ok, I have sold some guns in order to purchase my new STI .40 for Limited and Limited 10. One of the guns I sold was my carry gun, so...... I am thinking of getting a Glock 22 for carry and possibly Production as well. Here is my problem, I have a Stainless Sig GSR that I also need to get rid of, and will use this to "finance" my carry gun. I am hoping to trade this in for the Glock and the extra mags and Kydex holster etc... that I wil need to both compete and carry. What price should I be willing to pay with a trade in for the Glock 22? the GSR is in PERFECT shape with only 150 rounds thru it. The GSR is worth more than the Glock, will I be able to "cash out" of a deal with a dealer? Thanks in advance for your help. ZH
Tman33_99
Unless you have a good relationship w/your dealer, selling a gun is like selling a car, you will get more selling it yourself. Most dealers are in it to make themselves money, not save you money.
zhunter
Good point, and understood! What is a good deal on a Glock 22?
Tman33_99
I got my Glock 31 w/night sights for $425 about 3 years ago. You can get police trade ins for a little less. Mags should go less than $20.
chp5
I you don't mind a second generation frame (no finger grooves or light rail) then there's tons of police trade-ins on the market in the mid $300 range.
