Peter K
Yes, I´ve bought one! After a period of thinking "which separator should I buy (Dillon, RCBS, FA)" I bought the "small" Dillon. And it works great!!!! I love this machine. Separating the cases from the media is now a work of seconds!!!!! I´ll never give this machine away!! Oh, maybe the big Dillon isn´t bad, too ...... shred
I like the CV500 much more than the Frankford/Midway one. Still not perfect, but getting there.
Sgtsvi
I found a neat trick for those that dont have a case separator. I had a nylon mesh laundry bag with a zipper and carrying strap that I had thrown in a box. I discovered that I can unzip the bag and dump the brass and media into the bag while it sits in a large plastic bowl. Zip the bag up and lift it out ot the bowl and most of the media will run out into the bowl. I then hang the bag over the patio rail and give it a good shake and the rest of the media will come out. This seems to work as well as the separator for me. I also leave the brass in the bag until I need to polish more. Dave
