tcoz
Does anyone use the Frankford Arsenal Case Trim & Prep System to trim 300 BLK cases? If so, how do you grip the case head when trimming since so little of it sticks out?

dauntedfuture
I think that you will need a trim die first if you are talking .223 to 300BO conversion brass. There is a lot of brass that needs cut away. Once sized and trimmed the first time almost any trimmer will work.

The problem is that the 300 BLK case, being only 35mm long doesn't leave much to grip when it's inserted in the FA trimmer. I have a couple of suggestions and a $10 Fail safe method if those don't work. Thanks.
