tdrake2406
Hey guys got another question for you. A long time ago I bought a kkm barrel with comp #G34B1C and wasnt reloading at the time. I am looking more and more into open class but wanted to know some of your load data in regards to keeping the gun flat. I have accurate no 7, and autocomp to work with. I have titegroup, wst, 231, and titewad to work with but I heard slower powders will work with the compensator to keep muzzle flip down. I was wondering if you guys could suggest any load data to start with using a 124gr or 115 grain bullet. It really doesnt matter the power factor as I am not trying to make major or anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.
captain037
Start low and work up slowly, 7.0 grn of autocomp and a 124 make major. It'll take that to make the comp work.
kneelingatlas
Thats a pretty small comp, so it may never be impessively flat, but if you want to get the most out of it and don't need to make major I would use the 115s, and AA#7. Load 7gr, seat the bullet as long as you can and work up from there; it should keep getting flatter until the case is spilling over
