RescueYou
I have a CZ TS that I converted from .40 to 9mm. The gun has about 300-400 total rounds through it. I'm getting very unreliable extraction from it, about every 5rounds it won't pull it from the chamber. Do I need to do a little more 'fitting' of the barrel, or do I need to do a little modifying of the extractor, or..............
kneelingatlas
I'll bet just the tip of the extractor is grabbing the rim of the 9mm brass so a new extractor with modification to reach further towards the firing pin is in order.
RescueYou
Kneelingatlas, does it need to be filed down just a little bit to reach further? I think I know where it needs to be filed if that is the case.
eerw
You want it too reach in further. Also double check your brass , some have smaller case rims.
RescueYou
eerw, I didn't pick up my brass tonight, but that is something I thought of on my way home. I'll pay more attention next time out.
kneelingatlas
Yes, file the inside so it reaches in further.
