xtreme is here - help sorting mags for capacity?

Hi all,

my xtreme in 40cal finally arrived (see attached image). Its great for the most part though the magazine capacity issue is not so much. Only 15 rounds (and that's tight) with the xtreme basepad. I thought the basepad was supposed to increase capacity over the standard 15 rounds but it seems not. Anyway, what I am after is suggestions on the best way to get 17 rounds re-loadable minimum (more if possible). I had bought in anticipation a Grams11-coil w/follower kit (FKT-11) from Pedersens Vaabenlager as they advised however these do not fit my mag bodies. The follower is too long and will not start into the mag body. I'm rather disappointed as they were not cheap! A fellow Tanfoglio shooter I am in email contact with now advised I need the Grams FKTS-10 - however Grams no longer list them on their website and I have not found a place that will sell them? I imagine there is hopefully a standard solution for this so any suggestions appreciated.

It sounds like the followers you have are for 38/10/45, not 9/40; you can cut them to fit. If you call Bevin Grams he'll get you what you need.
