leath4m
Need help, my rear sight has come loose on my Sti edge. It's loose in the dove tail and moves with finger pressure. Can I unscrew the elevation to get at the problem? Is their a retaining screw underneath that?
Guy Neill
There should be a retaining screw exposed once the sight leaf is hinged up (by removing the elevation screw) There is a spring under there as well (as I recall), so don't lose it It may be a matter of tightening the retaining screw. leath4m
Ok thanks mate, I thought there would be. Put a bit of loctite on that screw you reckon?
jstagn
Also let some Green locktite ooz (technical term) under you sights, front and rear. The green is for already assembled part and will wick under your sight bases and help provide more security.
