BeerBaron
ahh, the old cmore shift. that's the FIRST thing I check if getting funny hits. last weekend. shot a short stage, no problem. next stage. hits going everywhere. get to ULASC and go to turn off the dot... practically the whole mount falls off in my hands! all the screws holding the single sided mount to the gun had rattled loose! cmore was wobbling around like crazy... had a few mikes on that one... d'oh! as far as stopping the zero shift there's not a huge amount you can do. what most people do is mark the position of both windage and elevation screws with a little dab of white out so you can easily see if it's moved and easily move it back close to your zero without needing a testing bay. there is another mod where you can put some locktite (just a little) either side of the adjustment block that moves the windage. that should help keep it in place. theres info here: http://re-gun.com/2011/05/c-more-care-and-feeding-zeroing-and-adjustment/ and here: http://re-gun.com/2011/05/c-more-care-and-feeding-fixing-wandering-windage/
