meatsauce
OK, sorry for the stupid question but, is the 40b capable of running alongside a 1911? (reliability, accuracy, speed...) I want a 1911 but being a cz fan boy, I thought of the 40b as an alternative.
Andreas
What do you do with the 40b when something breaks?
Bunsen
Most of the internals are the same as a CZ 75 so it is not too bad. They are fun to shoot but I would not compete with one. I found mine on Gunbroker about 18 months ago.
meatsauce
Well, I knew it was a silly question. Just thought I'd see what people had to say. I think I'll look for a Trojan.
beaver962000
I don't see a problem with the 40b competing with 1911s.....but I'm also kind of biased. Lol Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
bountyhunter
OK, sorry for the stupid question but, is the 40b capable of running alongside a 1911? (reliability, accuracy, speed...) I want a 1911 but being a cz fan boy, I thought of the 40b as an alternative.I have shot my CZ-85 (9mm) quite a bit. It's a nice gun, but it does pull stovepipes every now and then for no reason I have ever been able to fathom. Sometimes it will go hundreds of rounds without doing it and then pull three in 50 rounds. Factory ammo, factory mags and springs. My STI Trojan has run so many years without a malfunction I don't remember that last tie. But my Para 1911 is a dog, so all 1911's are not alike.
