Versamax max competition tactical - best results slugs/choke combo

Getting ready to do some slug testing. In interest for us to all save some cash I was hoping to get feedback from people on what slugs / buckshot and choke combos you have had the best results with. Giving others a starting point. Yes I know every gun will be a little different on what it may like best but it usually will give a decent start. Thanks

Fiocchi 7/8 oz and IC choke.

I didn't change chokes to find the best For slugs since 99% of the time I'm running LM. But the Fiocchi 1 oz low recoil were the most accurate for me at 100 yards. At 50 yards I saw little difference with any of the low recoil slugs.

Mine runs best with Fiochi 7/8 LR slugs LM choke. Have not tried the federal Truball my friend tells me his shoot them spot on with any choke.

I run Remington managed recoil slugs and couldn't tell any difference in POI or group size with Cyl up through LM. That being said I found myself in a situation at the Rockcastle SG match were I really needed a MOD and had to shoot slugs. Luckily it didn't seem to cause me any problems but I failed to plan for that scenario. So my point is don't overlook the tighter constrictions.
