bigfish
So I noticed that the front sight roll pin had fallen out a couple days ago. I replaced it and shot about a 150 rounds out of it today. After practicing I noticed that the new pin had started to move out also. Anyone else ever experience this? Anyone know that might cause this to happen? mgardner
It's a 2X10mm roll pin and a common size. Find one that fits snugly and tap it in and stake the ends to secure it. It holds the barrel bushing too so it's important it stays put. They will vary in diameter because they are rolled and collapse slightly when driven into the hole. Staking involves putting a slight burr on the ends of the hole with a staking tool or a center punch so it can't work back and forth. Just a little, not so much you won't get it out again. GJGary
I have had the pin work its way out and the bushing go flying, thankful that the floor is concrete. Used red loctite on the pin and no issues for the last 10k.
