rack&roll Posted May 24, 2014 Share Posted May 24, 2014 That happens with the PT grip too, but less frequently. You have metal on metal vs metal on polymer. It only happens in dry fire. I have never had it happen during a match. It doesn't happen with any of my other metal guns/mags. CZ, 226, 1911's. Wonder why only my STI alum grip? JaeOne3345 Posted May 24, 2014 Share Posted May 24, 2014 You mean adequate pre travel? Yes. I had pre-travel on the trigger with the SV bow in my polymer grip. I reshaped mine so it was the same length front to back as an STI bow, and I got all of my pre travel back. But yes, I have pre travel on the new set up as well.
