bayougump
When my friend and I both purchased these 2 Tanfos a couple months back they were supposed to be identical Stock II's. Not that it matters as both run great but I noticed on mine that it had some different markings on the slide. In pics below mine is the one with black grips. In the first pic their is a mark of some kind located on the rear of the slide on the right side. Also mine has "Stock" engraved where my friends does not. Is there a difference in the pistols here? Just curious. Thanks in advance. Sent from my flux capacitor
CleverUsername
Call EAA with the serials and I bet you will find the non stock marked one is a conversion and started its life as another caliber.
Savageman25
My first guess is that his has a conversion slide on it. The limited conversion kits I bought for my limited dont have those markings. Sent from my stupid phone.

bayougump
So mine with the markings is an original all complete Tanfo Stock II if I'm assuming correctly? That's pretty cool if that's the case, not that I'm saying anything wrong with his, just cool Sent from my flux capacitor
bayougump
I did notice on the frame that's not mine he had this marking "CAT 14910" which mine doesn't, weird Sent from my flux capacitor
