Jim Norman Posted March 13, 2014 Share Posted March 13, 2014 There area a lot of clubs that COULD host USPSA, but in many cases the boards think USPSA is 'running with scissors' and won't allow it. Rules such as No Rapid Fire, No Drawing from a holster, No movement with a loaded gun, etc. If you have a club in mind, approach the members cautiously, approach the board after you have gotten a feel if USPSA would be accepted from your interviews with members, invite the board to go with you to a match or two. Offer to do a demonstration match, just a couple stages and invite some of the local USPSA shooters to bring props, and build a couple simple stages. Go over the safety rules we employ.
