kellyn Posted March 12, 2014 Share Posted March 12, 2014 You don't need to shoot service rifle, match rifle, or smallbore to be a good three gunner. That being said, it certainly helped me having a background in Highpower but I've only shot one Highpower match this millenium! Buying a .22 trainer or even a decent air rifle will help you build positions and learn to shoot groups WAY cheaper than taking up a new sport (3 gun is expensive enough!)
