Was thinking about the Pelican ProGear Vault Extreme Protection Case. ipads are actually pretty darn tough. Nephew throws his around constantly and it still works fine. I use a neoprene sleeve from ebay and travel this way with it in backpack or luggage. For me a slim profile is important. The whole idea of the ipad is to shed some bulk and weight.
