D.Hayden
I think the forum used to always go through ha 3rd party host (can't remember the name, but so Brian got credit for directing them there), then redirect in a new window.. but that seems to have stopped? For an example this thread: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=152965&hl=
benos
Are you talking about the Samsung link, in this post: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=152965&p=2065854 ?
D.Hayden
yes, sorry.. didn't it used to pop a new window? And I thought it always had that referral link in them
benos
When I click that link, it opens in a new Tab, in Safari. I have an email in with VigLink, to see if it is still working. It may have gone away with the recent software upgrade. Thanks for the heads up.
D.Hayden
Vigilink.. that's it.. brain misfire usually, I'll see the Vigilink href in the status area when I mouse over.. not anymore In IE 11, it starts to open a new tab, than replaces the current window, leaving a blank tab - this is new behavior Chrome works fine, but it's direct to samclub, not through vigilink

Waltermitty
All my first attempts on using the link to the site in an email notification sends me to another site with popups etc. I dismiss the unwanted windows, click the link again and get to the original target. Only happens with Benos Forum links. I'll try to remember to take a screenshot and post it.
benos
I got this reply from VigLink: "Brian, Thank you for reaching out. I went to your forum and saw that VigLink was still active. I also clicked a link and saw that it called our API. Everything appears to be working correctly."
Waltermitty
Ok, here's what I get first: Then when I click the link again, I get the thread. If that's how it's supposed to work, color me surprised.
