caspian guy
Once upon a time if I recall right Sti used to make a polymer grip to fit their guns that took single stack mags. With all of this making metal grips for sti and sv guns is anyone making one that fits single stack mags? The idea would be to allow you to use a bushing barreled sti or svi in single stack just by changing the grip. If I remember correctly the reason the polymer grips were no go for for this was because the grip wasn't metal. Seems like a metal version would fix that issue. hdgun
If any one out there can correct me but I do not think it would be legal for SS. I believe this topic was discussed a while back. Plus it would throw you way over the weight limit.
Ronnie j
Not even a little legal, and would weigh a ton
Ming the Merciless
and would weigh a ton Only if it were all metal to the same exterior dimensions as a 2011 grip. If designed to accept standard 1911 grips at 1911 frame exterior dimensions with larger windows and some other minor work it wouldn't be much heavier than a 1911. Still wouldn't be Single Stack legal, but not necessarily a bad idea.
