rugerdawg
I pulled the charging handle back and locked my bcg to the rear. The bolt release does not appear to have engaged and I can't get it to move forward so I can't disassemble the upper from lower. Any Ideas? kaiserb
Take the front pins out and back pins out it will separate. Or take the castle nut off the tube.
outerlimits
Had this happen once-was a JP light weight buffer. The roll pin started backing out and jammed it in the tube. Not fun but start ramming the muzzle end down against something soft. If it's that, it'll come forward. YMMV.
stephen1776
Its possible that the buffer tube has worked itself loose, backing out a bit causing the buffer detent pin to catch on the bcg. It only takes a small turn.. If you can, try to tighten the buffer tube back up, it may catch the pin, pushing it back down. If that doesnt work try removing the buffer tube. SLOWLY...The spring still has the preassure on it. Happened to me during a match.. Its a stage killer and not a quick fix!! But not the end of the world.. Good luck...
