Ed K
I'm expecting delivery of my new STI .40 gun next week. It's the 1st new competition hundgun that I've bought. I currently shoot a Para 16-40 that I bought used. Is there anything that needs to be watched for during the first few hundred/thousand rounds through it? Should I do anything differently for the first few hundred rounds? On a side note, will my STI for para mags work in the new gun? Thanks in advance for your help. .40AET
will my STI for para mags work in the new gun? Sorry, I don't think so. Should I do anything differently for the first few hundred rounds? Yeah, shoot it without any problems. Just shoot it alot!

Steve Moneypenny
Try the mags they might. but they might not. i have seen STI mags work in para guns... and the STI - Para substitute mags look more like STI mags than para mags. Congrats and happy shooting.
Merlin Orr
There was a link posted here that showed the diff in STI - SVI and STI Para mags here not to long ago. I can't find it but I believe that the Para mag catch is in a different location by a touch...Higher?
