Spring replacement interval.

Just as title states: how many rounds before replacing springs on a CZ Sp01 Shadow Target used for weekly matches and practice as well?

I replace my recoil springs every 4-5k rounds. Your mileage may vary based upon your firing schedule. Lots of bill drills and you should probably replace it every 2k rounds.

The other springs...shrug. Im nearing 6k through my shadow and it appears to still be going strong. For peace of mind, you COULD throw in a new hammer spring and firing pin spring every now and then as the parts are SUPER cheap to replace.

My SP 01 has about 20k rounds on the original slide stop and trigger spring, 15k rounds on the main spring, and 5k rounds on the recoil spring. A lot of these are way past the recommended replacement period, but I have never had an issue. I will be going through the gun this winter and replacing the springs and slide stop.

I was planning to replace the trigger-return spring on my SP01 Shadow at 10k rounds but it broke around 9,500 + a bazillion dry-fire pulls.

I'm probably at about 5-7K rounds on both my competition pistols, both going strong without a hiccup. Maybe recoil springs this winter, others next year.
