DRJ1911 Posted November 11, 2013 Share Posted November 11, 2013 Good morning all. I have a Elite match in 45 on the way and have read about frame cracking that was attributed to weak recoil springs. Should I upgrade the spring and if so what weight? This is my first EEA so I have no experience with them. Ammo will be mostly target ammo with a few defensive rounds so should I change it or not. Mostly the cracking issues I've heard of were in 10mm and .40 models, and mostly with the rounded slide (you have the stronger, squared slide).
