ErikW
I hate the sound and feel in my neck when I take a hard spill snowboarding. Sort of a popcorn popping, knuckle-cracking, paper crumpling. Now all I have to do is turn my head and I can hear it. Not that it will help my neck, but I'm getting a helmet. And participating more in safer sports like dirt biking and shooting. ong45
You oughta leave the terrain park to the 18 year /old baggy pant crowd. James
blackdragon
I usually get that sound from my knee, just before it pops out of socket. Dirt bikes have a way of causing that to happen. And boy do I hate that! Ivan
Sam
Erik, I've been hearing it every day since I woke up in ICU on July 13, 1986. I've grown to like it over the years...... I could be hearing nothing..... or worse, those wheels Detlef is talking about. BTW, I can do cool things with my separated shoulder too!
kimel
I hear Reno has lots of massage parlors...no wait...those are for something else. But hey, that might help too. I figure the crunch/grind/pop noises are just there to remind me I am still alive.
ErikW
No, no, the terrain park crash was an entirely different injury, as was the lift line crash. This was an intermediate run crash. After I hurt my knee (same one as Area 2) near the lift line I said just one more run then I'm going home. One run was all it took.

ErikW
Yesterday was a lot better for the body, no popcorn making. I guess my first day out just required me to blow out the cobwebs.
