Browning40
I like Zero bullets. The company is outstanding to deal with. I have an issue with feeding in my STI 2011. I've tried 1.185 length to 1.205 lengths and I still get the bullet flipping up and getting caught on the upper portion of the chamber near the hood. Any advice greatly appreciated! mjohn
I am at 1.150 for an ST with the same bullet. No problems. I too like to deal with Roze.
AICS308
Could this be an issue with your mags. Does it happen with all mags?
Browning40
Thanks for the replies! Before I tried the Zeros I had one FTF with MG in 18K rounds. Length was 1.185 - 1.19. Mags are the same and only mags used in the gun. I changed the springs thinking that may help but the first 2 FTFs were with the new springs. I'm concerned a shorter length would miss the chamber hood entirely and lodge the round in the slide vertically. Maybe Zero's are for practice only... mjohn
I really like Zero's with Roze sending them to me. Perfect customer service with nice and knowledgeable people to take your order. A company that actual answers the phone without pressing a bunch of numbers on the phone key pad, only to find out in the end that you are getting voice mail after wasting alot of time. Great QC on the bullets too. However, if they won't work for you, then they won't work.
Lifeislarge
I never had any problems with Zero JHPs in my Edge. I load long (1.185-2.2). Is your feed ramp cut? Are they flipping bullet up or primer up? Let me know if you want to sell them.
Mokken
I agree with a few others, this is most likely a magazine problem, check the mag lips, I'll bet they are spread out a bit, that would cause the bullets to flip upward.
fastarget
weak or cut mag springs can also be a source of problems
