RogerT
I have maybe 1000 of .45 brass marked "AP 45", some of it new unprimed and some fired. I got it together with the Dillon SD press i bought used. When looking at the unprimed brass, the ignition holes seems somewhat off centre in some cases, is this something to correct or what? Tri Burst
I think I ran into some of this brass some time ago and if I remember correctly the primer hole/receptacle was smaller than the normal lagre pistol size, so check to see if they take the normal size primers. I could be wrong about the markings but it is something to check before you try reloading it. As far as the flash hole being off slightly I wouldn't worry about it but I would do some test loads with the brass they're off on first. Then again 45 brass is so cheap and lasts so long why even bother.
JFD
I haven't used much of it, but so far the .45 AP brass I have has been OK. The off-center flash holes are no different than PMC brass, so I've never given it a second thought.

Guest Larry Cazes
I've gone through atleast 5K rounds of it, no problems seen here.
Carlos
Works for me. I have rarely nocited .45 brass that "won't" work though I toss all brass marked "AMERC". I suppose my standards are low; I even reload steel cased Wolf .45 and surplus U.S. GI Steel cased .45 ACP w/o problems. I'd say use it til you loose it or it splits too much. Harmon
carlos is right on about the amerc stuff..it never loads right. AP brass is good, but i like federal the best.. some of the sellier and bellot brass is tough to prime though..
