zachvu Posted October 13, 2013 Share Posted October 13, 2013 I have a zev, and trimmed the backstraps so that they meet flush with the magwell. I took out the flush set screw, and put a low profile cap head screw that's a little longer to hold the magwell, plug, and backstrap in place. usmc1094 Posted October 14, 2013 Share Posted October 14, 2013 I don't know about the box, I've only shot 3 gun. I do have mags with extended base pads but the ones without fit just fine. I've never had a problem getting them to seat when on the clock. If you would like a pic of one in the gun I can get that for you in the morning.
