gigs Posted September 17, 2013 Share Posted September 17, 2013 well, i put my fresh wet tumbled brass in the over set on the lowest temp.. in 20 minutes my cases are COMPLETELY DRY... ready to load... no benefit you say ? the main reason i deprime my cases then wet tumble them .. is to keep all the grunge out of my case feeder & 650 press... thats enough of a benefit to me... Before we built the beast dryer, I used to put them on a big cookie tray and used a heat gun on them. Get them up to around 200-250F, it's basically impossible to accidentally anneal them with a heat gun, unless you just held it in one spot for a really long time.
