Mikelindsey
I was having some trouble with Winchester primers not setting in non military brass. I called Dillon, they told me that all 223 brass needs to be swagged and also that Winchestor primers are not the best for 223 loading as some of their small rifle primers are not always round enough. Can't figure this out as I heard non military brass didn't need to be swagged.
dillon
Some commercial cases do have crimped primer pockets. We have seen this in Federal and PMC. Other brands, notably European ones, can also have tight primer pockets, although uncrimped. What specific headstamps are you having problems with? nwsnowbum
LC (Lake City) is almost definitely crimped, unless you bought new unfired brass.
