ipscjoe
Unscrew the offending screw and find a nut the fits it. Thread it all the way down and grind off what is over hanging and causing the damage. Unscrew the nut off the screw and it will correct the end threads. Then just put it back with a dot of blue locktight in the pouch. Edited July 16, 2013 by ipscjoe
kmca
Or buy shorter screws?
cindynles
I had the same issue with the Safariland 773 for Glock 17. The tension screws were too long. I took the screws out and cut 5-6 threads off each one. The 771 pouches for my 1911 didn't have this issue though.
